Stations and connecting screens

Who it is for: Kitchen and bar staff; manager and owner

Labels in bold are written exactly as they appear in the app.

Stations and where orders go

  1. Every business starts with Kitchen and Bar stations; neither can be deleted. Other stations are created in Pengaturan → Stasiun dapur (KDS) with Tambah stasiun (example names: Grill, Cold Kitchen). Renaming does not change the internal tag, so products stay routed.
  2. A product is routed to one station in the product form. Full rules: KDS stations (Kitchen / Bar). In short: the product's own station wins; Perlu Dapur with no station goes to the Default station (Jadikan default changes it); Instan with no station makes no ticket.
  3. The station list shows "{n} item" or Belum ada item per station. A station still used by active products cannot be deleted; move the products first.

Bundles (Paket)

A Paket's parent line never appears on a kitchen screen; each item inside becomes its own ticket and goes to the station set on that item's product. So the fried rice in a bundle goes to Kitchen and the iced tea to Bar if the products are set that way. Make sure every product used inside a Paket has a station. Details: Kitchen (KDS), reports and the public menu.

Empty board: "Belum ada stasiun..."

An empty screen is not broken. Three messages:

  • Belum ada stasiun KDS ("Create at least one KDS station..."): no stations at all. Button Atur stasiun KDS.
  • Belum ada stasiun yang punya item (no station has items): stations exist but no product is assigned to any. Assign products in the product form.
  • Tidak ada yang diarahkan ke stasiun ini (nothing is routed to this station): the screen is bound to an empty station while others have items. Pick another station, show all (Tampilkan semua (tanpa filter)), or ask a manager to route products here. On a Checker-tagged screen the message offers Buka papan checker, which shows every station's tickets. Kitchen and Bar staff without permission to open Products do not get the button to the Products page; they need to ask a manager.

Connecting a screen (Pengaturan → Stasiun)

Two ways for a kitchen or bar screen to sign in without a staff account:

  1. One-time code. In Pengaturan → Stasiun tap Tambah stasiun, fill Nama layar, choose Akses (Dapur or Bar), and under "Which station does this screen show?" pick a fixed station or Tanya di layar (ask on the screen). Tap Buat dan ambil kode. The code shows once, is valid 15 minutes and works once. On the screen open the special login page, tap Pakai kode pendaftaran, and type the code. Codes never contain 0, 1, I, L or O.
  2. Business handle + PIN. In Pengaturan → Akses stasiun the owner creates one PIN per screen type. The screen connects itself.
  3. Connected screens appear in Pengaturan → Stasiun ("{n} layar aktif") with Masuk terakhir. Cabut (revoke) stops one screen without changing anyone's password; Kode baru issues another code. Repeated wrong PINs lock the screen temporarily. Regenerating an access PIN signs out every screen connected with it.

A screen signed in by code cannot sign itself back in after signing out; a manager must create a new code (Pengaturan → Perangkat). So do not sign out before service ends.
