Labels in bold are written exactly as they appear in the app.
Steps
- Open the product, Penjualan & Dapur, Tipe Produksi.
- Choose Instan ("Ready to serve, skips the kitchen display (KDS)") or Perlu Dapur ("Sent to Kitchen Display (KDS)").
- Under Stasiun KDS choose the station that receives the item, e.g. Dapur or Bar. Picking a station switches the type to Perlu Dapur; Tidak ada (None) switches it back to Instan.
- Save. If stations exist but a Perlu Dapur product has none picked, the form refuses: "Made in the kitchen: choose the station that makes it." and offers Use {station} for the default station.
Why a product never reaches the KDS
Routing rule (from the code):
- A product with a station goes to that station.
- Perlu Dapur without a station goes to the default station (shown in the list as "{name} (default)").
- Instan without a station never fires a kitchen ticket. The form warns: "No station selected, this item does not appear on the kitchen display (KDS)."
- A tag that matches no station (deleted or mistyped) shows Stasiun tidak ada: "its tickets may not reach a screen".
So a station screen can look empty: "Nothing is routed to this station" or "No station has items yet" ("Every business starts with a Kitchen and a Bar. Assign products to one of them so orders have somewhere to go."). The screen is not broken; the products are not assigned.
Checking from the Products page
Above the list are the chips KDS aktif, Tanpa KDS and KDS · Perlu dicek (stations missing, or falling to the default), each with a count. Per-station filters are under Filter. To assign many products, select them and use Set stasiun KDS (Categories, hiding, bulk actions, import).
Stations are created in Pengaturan → Stasiun dapur (KDS) (Settings → Kitchen stations (KDS)). Ticket or label printing is set separately in Pengaturan → Printer and applies to both Instan and Perlu Dapur.
