Approving or rejecting a void

Who it is for: Cashier, waiter to request; manager, supervisor, owner to approve

Labels in bold are written exactly as they appear in the app.

Where requests show

Only devices with Setujui Void check for requests; everyone else sees nothing.

  • Yellow strip on the POS screen: "{n} permintaan pembatalan menunggu", one button per request (table name or bill number, and amount), oldest first. The strip disappears completely when nothing waits.
  • Count badge on the Mulai POS button (Buka POS while a shift is active) in the sidebar and on the POS entry of the bottom bar (phone).
  • Toast when a new request arrives: "{name} meminta pembatalan untuk {bill}". The list reloads every 20 seconds and when the screen regains focus, so a request can take a few seconds to appear.

Steps

  1. Tap a request. The Permintaan pembatalan panel shows Diminta oleh, Bill, Cakupan (Item terpilih or Seluruh transaksi), the items and quantities, Jumlah yang dibatalkan and the requester's Alasan (wajib).
  2. Choose Setujui & batalkan. The items are voided, the bill is updated and the void is recorded under your name ("Dibatalkan").
  3. Or choose Tolak. The Catatan jika ditolak (opsional) is read by the requester ("Pembatalan ditolak oleh {name}: {reason}"); fill it in when useful, for example "already cooked".

When the bill is already closed

If the bill was paid, voided or closed on another device, the request button carries a Ditutup tag. The panel says nothing is left to void and offers only Tutup permintaan. The server closes such requests itself the moment the bill leaves the open state, and also when you press approve or reject on a bill that is no longer open ("Bill itu sudah ditutup, jadi permintaannya ditutup."). Tutup permintaan stays for older servers and polling gaps.

Simultaneous taps

If someone else handled it: "Permintaan ini sudah ditangani orang lain." If you lack the permission: "Anda tidak punya izin untuk itu."
