Starting a shift

Who it is for: Cashier; manager and owner

Labels in bold are written exactly as they appear in the app.

Steps

  1. Open the POS. With no active shift the Mulai Shift dialog appears by itself ("enter the opening cash in the till").
  2. Type Kas Awal on the keypad or tap a quick amount (Rp 0, Rp 100.000, Rp 200.000, Rp 500.000). Tap Rp 0 for an empty drawer; the field is required.
  3. Tap Mulai Shift. The POS top bar shows "Shift" with a running timer.

Clock in too?

For members with Wajib absen and no open timecard, a small toast Absen masuk juga? with Absen masuk appears after Mulai Shift (about 12 seconds). One click clocks you in ("Absen masuk tercatat"); if a photo is required or the day needs a confirmation, it opens the full clock sheet. Ignoring it is fine.

Opening cash from the previous shift

If the last shift at this outlet was closed, the dialog offers "Pakai kas penutupan sebelumnya: {amount}" and says who handed over ("Diterima dari {name} · {time}. Cocokkan dengan uang di laci."). Still count the drawer.

Unusual amounts

A very large amount triggers "Yakin? {amount} terlalu besar untuk kas awal." and the button becomes Ya, mulai dengan jumlah ini.

Venues without a cash drawer

With Tanpa laci kas switched on (non-cash venues) the dialog says the shift starts without an opening count and asks for no amount.

An old shift still open

Shift belum ditutup shows "Shift ini sudah terbuka {n} jam". It is either a reminder (you may Lanjut jualan, but close soon) or a block ("Tutup shift ini sebelum memulai shift baru."). Buttons: Tutup shift / Tutup shift (kas 0) and Kembali ke Dasbor.

Shift closed elsewhere

If your shift was closed on another device or by a manager, payment stops and "Shift ini sudah ditutup" appears. The cart is kept; open a new shift to continue.
